Introduction
“Cookies” is the common shorthand for the small bits of data a website keeps in your browser. We use very few of them, and we group everything we store into three categories so it’s clear what each one is for. You can change your choices at any time — see Managing your choices.
What we store
Necessary — always on
These keep the website and the booking flow working, so they don’t need your consent and can’t be turned off. They include:
- Booking & form state— held in memory while you use the site so your place in the booking flow isn’t lost as you move between steps.
- Session & sign-in — short-lived values used when you log in or verify your identity.
- Your consent choice— we remember the selection you make here so we don’t ask on every page.
- Security — values that help protect forms against abuse (for example, request-forgery protection).
Analytics — only with your consent
If you allow Analytics, we load Umami, a privacy-first, cookieless tool that gives us aggregate traffic numbers (which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from) so we can improve the site. It sets no advertising cookies, builds no personal profiles, and does not collect personally identifying information. Nothing analytics loads until you opt in, and turning it back off stops it immediately.
Marketing — none today
This category is reserved for future marketing tools. We don’t run any today, so leaving it on or off changes nothing right now. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy first and it will remain off until you opt in.
Managing your choices
You can review or change your choices at any time. Open the preferences panel with (also linked in the footer of every page), toggle the categories you want, and save.
Rejecting analytics does not affect booking. The booking flow runs entirely in your browser’s memory and never depends on your consent choice — you can book an appointment whether you accept, reject, or ignore the banner entirely.
You can also clear this site’s data from your browser settings at any time; doing so simply means we’ll ask for your preferences again on your next visit.
Third parties
We keep third parties to a minimum. Our analytics run on Umami, self-hosted on our own infrastructure and served from our own domain — your browser doesn’t contact an outside analytics company, and the data stays with us. We do not sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
For the full picture of what we collect when you book or contact us, see our Privacy Notice.
